Street Racer Law Poll! Vote !!!ctv.ca
Hey guys,
Not sure if this has ben posted yet, but thought you may want to vote.
This law is a crock and most people have no idea how it will affect them and the fact that most cases are getting thrown out and its starting to look like the biggeset money grab since the gun registration.
It is at the bottom right hand side of the page.

i voted yes..i dont see any problem with this law at all. now crushing cars is whole diff ballgame and doesnt make sense but the occurance of behaviour the law is designed to deter makes sense.

its a good law. crush the damn cars and all....it only unfair in the eyes of the idiot going 50+ over the limit. the best thing people can do is STOP SPEEDING!!!!! i was one of those 200+ guys on the 401/407 etc when i was in my 20's but not anymore its way to crazy on the roads now..too many people/cars its an accident waiting to happen. the law should be 30+ over imo. that said they need a track that is way closer to toronto for the guys who like going fast....not that i think it will help but it might.

It's a good law, although, it should be 'practice what you preach'.
Driving down Davis dr. this morning, 50 zone, who speeds past at a good 70+ clicks, only to be at the light when I arrive, then speed off, and get caught up at the next light. Our wonderful law enforcement agency. (it was funny seeing a for two right behind it doing the same speed... putter putter putter)
If they really want the rest of the population to take their laws for speeding seriously, dont' freakin do what you're exactly not suppsoe to do, lead by example.

I don't speed excessively, so I don't care about the law. I do agree that some of the consequences can be a little harsh.
Compare someone who is caught speeding to someone who is impaired. The impaired person doesn't usually get their car impounded or face the initial problems that a speeded does.

think about it... if a cop really wants to be a *****, he can claim you spun your tires and were trying to race..
i know someone who rode (his motorcycle) in the same lane as a parked car (downtown)
cop booked him for stunt riding...
he was riding a scooter...
got his scooter impounded, won in court, but not after $3000 in towing/impounding/court fees
this is why bill 203 is BS, and why you shouldn't have voted yes
